wasup Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 I am running two but thats only because I dont have the funds to go to the one carb set up yet. Quote
NYUK Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 2 carbs for dragging 38mm mikuni tm`s.grr intakes.10 quarter mile runs to a tank of gas.not recomended for trails. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 HOLY SHIT! What kind of engine work do you have done to run twin 38's? I have seen one at DAB racing that was running twin 41's, but that was 4 years ago and I haven't seen one running that big since. Quote
NYUK Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002  GRR PRO PORT,,,,,EXTREME CYLINDERS SHOULD BE HERE NEXT WEEK,THEY CUT DOWN ON MY GAS MILEAGE A LIL  Quote
Scott M Posted September 16, 2002 Report Posted September 16, 2002 I ran a single Graydon Y manifold and a PWK35 for the last 5yrs and loved it Except for riding in wet conditions as it had an exposed K&N w/ow. Supposedly there are new OuterWares that are "water resistant" that I never got to try, but that was the only draw back. Tuneing, low-end/torque and looks were all excellent. The only reason I changed to dual (used) PJ35's is because I went w/a 420cc set up and I'm starting to have 2nd thought's as they are becoming a challenge to tune in. Quote
87bansheefmf Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 Twins too cheep to get a single  Quote
sksummers Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I ran the Trinity 2-1 with a 34PJ on my wife's Banshee for awhile. Never really got a chance to get it dialed in before she gave it a thumbs down. Ran the stock Mikunis rejetted with Dynojet needles for several years, then went to 28PWK's. She gives the 28's a double thumbs up, we ride woods, trails and dunes. Quote
jgbailey57 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I have the single 34 with a K&N and supposedly water resistant outerwear. I ended up making an airbox out of sheet aluminum and it works great. Quote
BdBanshee Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 I have dual 34mm Keihin PJ's with K&N clamp ons and Outerwears. I ride mostly dunes and they have more top end. With the port job I have at least as much bottom end, if not more than stock. Quote
87bansheefmf Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Im running twins would like to run the single but cost is way to much Rob Quote
mxbanshee5 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I just got my graydon 2to1 about 4 weeks ago, and all I have to say is I the best set up I ever bought for my shee and the PT midrange pipes I bought a month before I got the 2to1 setup. Quote
Forcefed Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I am also running GRR`s twin 38mm Mikuni set-up. May be a little overkill, but all you really lose with an oversized carb is low-end throttle response...which is not necessary when it is a drag machine. Plus you`ll never have to sell these and buy bigger ones!!! I Quote
wasup Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I just recived my Trinity set up today and hope to install it very soon. I hope it works out good. Quote
