Unfortunately no, the Armadillo doesn't protect the linkage. I don't recall seeing any major scratches on my linkage though.

I've got an Armadillo and it really takes a beating. I ride with alot of big rocks and it is holding up fine. My last trip to Chadwick I thought I completely destroyed my skid plate but it just had nicks and scratches. I was impressed.

I have the single 34 with a K&N and supposedly water resistant outerwear. I ended up making an airbox out of sheet aluminum and it works great.
