deathmetal5150 Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 heys guys im just starting to get into flat track racing, and i was thinking about going ahead and getting a set of cheetah cubs go along with it. Do you think these cylinders would be the trick for racing flat track? Rather, would they be great or? Right now i have a good port job on the motor but i want to get real serious with doing this so i would love to hear some opinions. i may occasionally take the bike out for a little cruise now and then off the track so again would just like to hear your opinions. As far as my setup right now, its fmf pipes, reed spacers, lowering kit, plus 4 lonestar axle, hoosiers, etc. My main concern is reliability, i'd probably just go with the stock bore setup for the cheetahs, that should be good enough. Anyways would love to hear more about it. Quote

Yeah im definetely up for options, it doesnt have the be the cheetah cubs they just looked like quite a good setup. Jim if you got time to talk about it that sounds great with me! locogato11283 Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 with some clutch work it could prolly happen. otherwise comin around those corners you wont be powering out unless you clutch it. id go with something else for flat tracking. Quote
