96 Mohave?

Now I was randomely searching the internet for info when I ran across this quote "and last but not least the nastiest 1996 Kawasaki 250 Mohave ever built. $1,500 of engine later it has double the stock horsepower, 72 mph on top, and eats Banshees/400EX's/etc etc for lunch"

Mojaves are pretty unique like the banshee you dont see a DOHC liquid cooled 4 stroke motor in many entry leval quads, stock they have really good bottom and mid but not all that great on top, i belive it could hit 72 mph but never will touch a 400ex and especally a banshee..

i had one of them ..got stolen...

buddy must not have seen to many banshees..

and if he did race one it must of been stock..

but besides that.. a 400ex and a shee.. would eat that bike and shit it back out just to run by it again..

top is nothing.. change your gearing and it will take longer but you will go faster..

its all about going from 0 to top speed as fast as you can shift the bike..

I remember a few years back in Atv Action they did a test on a Four Stroke Tech 350 Mojave and Lakota.They had alot of work done to the Mojave and they said it would beat stock Banshees all day long,but still couldn't compare to a modified one.

majaves are pretty crappy quads. a 250 that weights as much as a warrior...and the super DOHC setup that uses rocker arms WTF

Those things are just 450lb turds My cousin has one and its slow as shit, i could never see that thing out accelerating my stock shee, let alone my brothers ported, piped, hi compression, blah blah blah. If you read the bikes that guy has previously owned, youll notice that a yamaha banshee is not on that list. I must admit, i thought my suzuki lt230 was a fast quad before i got the shee , and i used to fantasize about beating banshees and stuff, thinking my quad is so great... You really dont know what its like until youre on a shee. Theyre fast little buggers
