littletroll Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 I just put a Noss Head on, and found that the coolant hose that goes between the carbs is to short has anyone had this problem? I have it clamped on but it is about an inch or so short of flush and a little coolant pops out but not even at a drip just curious if it is something that needs to be flush or not? thanks Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 i actually found that with my noss head the coolant hose went way up on the tube sticking downward. do you have the piece that the coolant hose is attached to turned towards the front more? you should have way more than enough to get it sealed up tight. littletroll Posted May 13, 2005 Author Report Posted May 13, 2005 which part are you talking about? The one coming from the motor cause i don't think you can change the direction of the tube on the head can you? Quote
littletroll Posted May 13, 2005 Author Report Posted May 13, 2005 I assume you would be talking about the end that comes from the top of the motor and i didn't pay attention when i put it back together if you can move it or not but i will look at that in the morning thanks Quote
dlnoss Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 I'm not sure I understand but the hose doesn't slide all the way up on the fitting, only about an inch. Call if you want. -David Quote
Bansheeman1121 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Works fine on my head, the hose is more than long enough, are you sure its not hung up on something and your getting all the slack.. Quote
banshdog Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 I know what you are talking about. I slid min all the way up and clamped it, but it slid back down. You will be O.K. as long as you can get the clamp on it above the flange on the end of the cool head. Quote
littletroll Posted May 13, 2005 Author Report Posted May 13, 2005 Cool I will just leave it alone for now thanks all Quote
