rocketboy Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 i like the Ims roll pegs but they re spendy...205$. im thinking about different options . some guys mod the stockers ,some run the blaster pegs ,i want width too and lower and further back a bit is there any viable option to this ? anybody on here do welding and modding to the stocker for a good price ? im really wanting a better positon so i can get the front up alittle easier and dont sit on the bike like a damn queer wh odeos these mods or do you have any pics for me as a reference? thanks guys Denny Quote
broke Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 Buy a set of blaster pegs, cut off the foot rest portion on yours and bolt it on to see if you like it. If you do, get it welded. I have had blaster pegs on mine for two years with no issues at all. Quote

superchicken Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 i just fabed up some mounting plates and rewelded my pegs directly over the mounting holes.moved them back about 3-4 inches.dont forget youll have to cut reweld the brake,shifter lever.btw,i noticed with the shorter shift lever i needed to manhandle the shifter a little more because of the lost leverage of the longer one Quote
