I rode the 200 last weekend and forgot how much fun it is. I wont complain about the banshee's shocks for awhile . I put the custom seat cover on myself Quote

BigRed350x Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 i went from a blaster to a banshee. im thinkin about going back to the blaster, the banshee is too slow... 360386 Why is every post you make lately so sarcastic? I'm sure you will even reply to this one with some remark similar to your others. Quote
sanddevil111 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 yea i learned the hard way though!!!!several times!lol...yea first time was comin around a corner really fast and it was gravel and i could flat trak perfect on my blaster but on the banshee i never realized how easy the tires broke loose until that moment and it was too late and it went sideways and then flipped but she didnt get hurt but i did...the second time was when i thought i had it down and expected it to spin for a sec in a drag race and it stood straight up and threw me off...third time was I kinda saved it but was still a dumb move ...I was in grass and turn really sharp half expecting it to spin and turn gracefully and it did but then it did that one wheeled wheely shit and i pulled through somewhat gracefully and now its actually pretty easy but then Ive been doin for 5 years...yea it will do things a blaster could never even fathom...congrats on that man Quote
MILO Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 (edited) i had an '00 blaster before my shee, mostly cuz of $$ and my buds i rode with had blasters, a beartracker, lakota, etc... but the blaster would barely take me up the hill climbs i wanted to do and felt kind of small. so i traded it the next summer for a new shee. it was great, a lot more speed along with a lot better braking. i was as happy as could be. a wise decision Edited April 29, 2005 by MILO Quote
BANJO Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 WHEN I BOUGHT MY BANSHEE.. well i went from a honda 250 rancher.. now i drove many bike befor i bought the banshee.. i always wanted one just because.. the first time i seen one i was hooked.. then when i went to test drive mine.. i was ready for the speed and power.. but man i was in for 1 big shock.. 1 went down the street just low in 2nd.. then turned.. snaped it.. and well.. i thought my armes were going to rip out my sockets.. my neck snaped back.. then i turned around again.. and snaped through to 4th.. and pulled back in buddys drive way.. WITH ONE BIG SMILE.. first 2 words i said.. THATS FAST.. bought it.. rippied it for 4hrs that day.. been hooked on it ever since.. will never buy another bike.. peace devin Quote
Brian060 Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 i came off a arctic cat 250 4x4 and a suzuki 230 before that 360640 Kinda similar story here; started out on a suzuki 230. Then jumped on a crf250r, then banshee. The power (or more likey speed) transition from the crf to the banshee wasnt anything suprising. I just wonder how i got by riding that old 230 Quote
