Krylon Fusion

[Toomey Banshee]

I just painted the lads white Blaster with some black Krylon Fusion paint. 3 coats and its pretty dull. Does Krylon sell a glossy clear coat that can be applied?

ya, that stuff sucks plus it takes forever to dry

did you do it today?were both in jersy and it was pretty moist out today.humidity has alot to do with pait dulling out.spay them again and get them inside were its warm and dry.it helps to put on a nice heavy even coat,borderline too heavy.wile spraying it look at an angle to catch the glare to see

exactly what he said moisture in the air can cause a good paint job to ruin... just my .02

i have always been sucesfull with krylon fusion black, nice and shiny. all i did really was put multiple, heavy coats on. good luck!!

I've used Krylon Fusion,and it turned out nice and glosey.

Yep, i did all my plastics with krylon, it WAS dull, then i got the Krylon Clear and it make them Nice and glossy

I have painted my Shee front plastic with Black Fusion wet sanded it after each coat with 400 than 600 grit . Shines like no other. Drying time in 70 degree is about 2 hours So if it dull you have bad can.Prep, cleaning, sanding,temps play a major role in a good job.

weather makes a big differance in the paint with the fusion paint i painted my lt250r plastics on a hot sticky day and it came out dull so we let it dry and then scuffed it up and repainted came out great

Yup, repainted the next day, it was nice, clear and about 65 degrees. Put two more coats of black on and 2 coats of gloss and they look pretty good. Thanks for the help. Oilsmoke, looks like a real nice bike you have there.

Thx Tommey, It's Not a Show shee but It's Nice Duner workhorse.

 

After your paint cures real good. To Clean it, an Old trick is Lemon pledge furniture polish, Paint & seat will looks great,It cleans off easyer after you get it dirty too.

Also good & Cheap.
