Needle for carb!

I have a set of 33pwk carbs and I think the needle is wrong. The guy I bought them from said he had them on an rz. The mid range is kinda slow or boggish, I have moved the clip all the way up and it helped but I dont think it is still right? What needles do you guys run in your 33pwks or what do you recemend for me to try? Mods in signiture. Also I have # 5 slides if that makes a difference>

Did you try moving the clips all the way down (moving the needle up), which would richen it and maybe eliminate the bog? Is it a smooth bog like in a lean condition or is it wet sputtery sounding?

my bro has cgl needles in his 33mm pwk. they seem to work very well. im thinkin about gettin a set of them to try in my 35mm carbs

Its kinda smooth, I have run a plug check and seams alright, I think I am slower with these carbs, I ran faster with my stock carbs.

I run the CGL in mine. Works tits so far

DEJ on my 33wpk it could be better but it does run strong.
