Just got back yesterday from the trip that I won to Maui. It was an awesome trip. Met some cool people, all in all had an excellent time. Got some sunburns too.

They put us up in a sweet hotel, it was actually a resort. The Hyatt Regency on Maui, if you wanna check it out.

I am really busy, but will try to get some pics up ASAP.

Didnt wanna leave, but its good to be back.

Right on!

Won the trip through a radio promotion. I will have to pay about $650 in taxes next year for the trip. Not to bad considering the trip was valued at $2100 :shrugani:

Should have a few pics up on Friday.

Maui is incredible. Swimming with sea turtles is like nothing I have ever experienced in my life. We have stayed at the Westen and the Sheraton and both are beautiful resorts. We spent most of the time there in the ocean and shopping. Did you make it down to Lahaina? We spent most of our night wondering around there.

If they only calculated the trip at $2100, you got lucky. It cost more than that for us to just fly there. We actually looked at homes there, much more reasonable than I thought they would be.

The next time I go will be during Whale season, we left right before they got there, we had heard of a few sightings, but never saw any.

No joke there, when i was out there i was swimming about waist deep, and saw something coming up, at first i thought it was sea garbage. Turned out to be a HUGE sea turtle. It stopped no more than 3' from me. I probably could have touched the thing had i wanted too.

We went right in the middle of whale season, You could park on the side of the road, and watch them all day. IF you sat in one place for 15 minutes your almost bound to see several. We also took a catermaran out on a whale watching tour. A mother and her calf were by us for quite a long time. AT one point the calf was real close to the boat.

Pearl Harbor was quite the place too. I never realised how big that wall actually was at the Arizona. Much bigger than the TV makes it seem. Quite Sad
