Dead Op Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Hey, i am having troubles with my banshee, it has fmf fattys, a white bros boost, and a k&n air filter. like ait runs champ, but everytime i let of the gas therpms go down and it shuts off, i think its the pilot jet. i am probally wrong. anyone help me!!! spoin39 Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Have you cut off the dip switch in your throttle cover? There is a small micro switch the throttle hits when released, cut it off. I am assuming you have tried to turn the idle up. Quote

FIRST BANSHEE Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 does it idle at all, have you tryed to adjust the idle screws? what are your air screws set at. your mains should be in the 280-300 range with the lid on and 300-320 range with lid off, your stock pilots should be fine there 25's. You need 27.5 or 30 . Just call FMF they will tell you. Quote

Dead Op Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 ok this is another problem i found, after takin the carbs out and cleanin them through. i started it up fired up nice i was on the gas for about 2 minutes revving it up cuz it still wont idle, and then it shuts off, i forgot to put this in this was happening before to. I got my shee back today, the problems were, tors was only half way removed , wasnt jetted right, pilots were way off, and i was mixin the gas too rich, well it kinda seems dumb but hey i just got my shee 13 days ago so, i am just startin to get involved with these "Twin Screamers" Quote
