locogato11283
i would do heat temp powdercoating. it holds up very well. heat temp bomb can will chip off in a matter of days. never used ceramic coating..
RNBRAD
Ceramic, jet hot coatings is your best bet if your not interested in chrome.

LegendSS28
loco isnt saying to never use it, he is syaing he has never used it, so he wont comment because he has no personal experience with it...correct me if im wrong but back to your question, chrome would be my first choice, followed by ceramic coating, from what ive heard is very good
dnhyoung
I've got my T-5's ceramic coated, and they have held up really well...I would of prefered chrome, but when I got the bike they were black and peeling badly
CowboyBanshee
the jet hot coatings seems to really do a hell of a nice job on my headers, and they look slick, but my t-5's are chrome haha, but jet hot works damn well

2stroker
If you're considering high temp paint, look into using high temp ceramic paint. I've never used it myself but it can handle higher temperatures than regular high temp paint. Most high temp paint in the can can go up to 1000*. Some ceramic paints can go up to 1500* (Duplicolor) - 2000* (VHT). Like I said, I've never tried it myself. But if the stuff printed on the can is accurate, it might be worth a shot. If it dont work, you're only out about $8 for a can. Edited March 29, 2005 by 2stroker
ClimbAnyHill
before and after with high heat paint! u can see one side finished while the other look like shit.
platinumjason
The ceramic coating will hold in heat which is why most will tell you chrome or high temp paint. Any pipe maunfacturer will tell you this anyway.
