cb67rs1 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 (edited) sounds like your dad was under qualified to do the job and didn't do it right. i have a 97 f150 , previously had a 96 silverado ,and i am a mechanic at a shop where we work on everything. and fords, chevys all have their problems .both makes are good if you take care of them and fix them when they break (chevys are much easier to work on) common problems with silverado and f150 ford f150 - Edited March 22, 2005 by cb67rs1 Quote
iceman Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 screw ford and chevy, go buy a toyota!! in fact we pulled out two very stuck trucks today..one was chevy pickup and the other was a bronco II!! with out land cruiser, a few thinsg is has is a 350chev(yeah i know..), 38.5" swampers, air lockers, etc..buy a totoyta next time!! ~Mark~ 342118[/snapback] Yeah so technicaly its a chevy. Because what was pulling the pickup and the bronco was the 350 chevy engine. Quote
fast87 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 that's like saying it is techincally a super swamper, because what was pulling the bronco and chevy were the swampers(tires), right? what you said doesn't make much sense...because on the title it says 75' land cruiser, not 80 something chevy 350... , just live with it, everything sucks at one time or another ~Mark~ Quote
iceman Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 I didnt mean to offend, I was just saying that the engine (which produces the power) is a chevy engine. I'm not hating on toyotas or anything, I like toyotas. I think anything with a motor will give you trouble sometime or another. Quote
Blue Duece Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 i think its your fuel pump switch, the only problem with gettin a chevy is everyone will know your gay, at least with a ford it's anyones guess....... Quote
