Mr.350 Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 alright my father in law bought a banshee with the trinity stage 4 kit along with a 4 mil stroker crank. he had the 2 into 1 carb setup and ran okay then, so now he decided to put 2 38 mil carbs on it and now it runs like a scalded dog but only if you can shift it fast enough, it willl shift just fine in the lower RPM's but as soon as you give it all its got you cant shift fast enough . it shifted just fine with the 2 into 1 setup and now this problem just came up. what are some suggestions you guys have. Thanks Quote
wesw Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 throw some 16 or 17 frt sprocket on will help a shit load Quote
itsaripper Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 The type and weight of the oil will effect the shifting. Have you modified the shift star yet? Also if you ever have to go into the transmission, put some shifting forks from the RZ into it. They have little rollers that run in the shifting cam. Really makes power shifting smooth. Quote

locogato11283 Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 guy that built my brothers motor does this mod to the shift shaft itself. it shifts so damn easy now and all you have to do is either buy one from him already modded or send him yours. i think you can just buy one for about 50 bucks or so. well worth it for sure. if anyone wants info let me know ill get his number.
