But Im cofussed on what to get.I hear people talking about dune ports, woods ports ect.I do alot of riding in sand and gravel pits.I do some trail riding but the trails the type you can really get on it.And in the winter i do some ice drag racing. So my question is what type of port would accomitate my rideing style.Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question to some people, but Im new to this game.Any info would be a help thanks. o2 banshee paul turner powerhead 22cc domes paul turner midrange pipes duncan pyramid reeds k-n fiter setup Quote

locogato11283 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 www.eric-gorr.com he does a badass woods port. its about 200 bucks and it rips. tons of bottom end and midrange. but if you wanna drag throw on a big front sprocket and away you go. its really got tons of power. my brother ran 16 and 17 tooth front sprockets last year at our hillclimbs with a gorr woods port. with t-5s, v force reeds and 33mm pwk it made 58 horsepower. power comes on about 4500 rpm. 1800bigk Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Gorr port job is best bang for the buck, my nephew has it and it is amazing how much you get for 200 bucks. Quote
MonkeyBoy Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Well with a full Duncan setup, I would suggest them. But they will set you up for larger carbs, and race gas. You will end up with 34 PJ's and race gas if you don't run it already. They do excellent work, and know their stuff, but experience costs. Quote
rocketboy Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 ptr pipes will probably hold you back on a drag port .you dont want adrag port for your riding and mods go for a woods port or aggresive trail as some call it,most co.do this for around 400 $ but eric gorr's priceand power is amazing from what everyone says , Quote
