locogato11283 Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 its good to have something to shoot for but the prices you have given on most of your parts are way low unless you are buying it all used. Quote

02bluebanshee4u Posted February 21, 2005 Author Report Posted February 21, 2005 loco- yea I just gave a number on what I've seen them go for. Most prices are from ebay The noss head and domes will be more and the elkas and prolly most of the rest hehe I wish I could get it all at this price but we'll see. SLowly but surely it'll come along. Just talked to dad and he said I can start as soon as he's done with his bike and not to rush him (ha he's in for a treat of rushing ) -Jeremy Quote
white trash Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 So if there is one thing i learned while in process is... Take that final figure you have and tack another $1000 on it. I did the same thing you did, research, adding figures etc. Now that I'm 1/2 way done Im finding all this little nickel and dime shit that I didnt account for, and other parts I didnnt initally plan on buying... I.E new bearings, new steel braided lines, fancy lever's, billet shit so on and so forth. Granted I could probably get away without buying some of it, but if im this far in already why start half assing now. Anyway good luck on your projecy when u start Quote
RNBRAD Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 but if im this far in already why start half assing now. Haha, yep that's what I've always said and man does it cost a ton. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Granted I could probably get away without buying some of it, but if im this far in already why start half assing now. 327086[/snapback] I Quote
