i just now read it again and it sounds like its way too lean. if you have to choke it to get it to run its not getting enough gas. screw the needle up a few turns and see if it will idle without the choke on..what do the numbers on the needle say? itll read something like 4-2 or 6-2..what do you have in there?

Well when I turned the needle the other way it is too much, I tried to adjust it a little bit with the screw on top but...

Locogato is 100% right.  My bro has a Lectron, I have watched him work on it many times.

Also on the main screw (power jet screw)  you should not be turning it in whole turn incerments.  Try turning it in 1/4 turn incerments.  It wont be as drastic of change, hopefully you be able to get it dialed in that way.  let us know.

I think it only runs right with the flat end facing towards the back of the bike though?

Ok Weirman- try turning the adjustment screw in all of the way, then start backing it out 1/4 of a turn at a time. Give that a shot. Another very well educated person who might be able to help you out is Dennis Packard from Packard Racing. His website is www.packardracing.com You can post on his website with your question, or give him a call, he knows all about Lectrons.

Well right now Im waiting for pistons to come in. I am replacing them and have it all torn apart. Hopefully I can get them in this week and then figure out the carb problem.
