  4. i can't figure out how to do it.. i need help taking them out because im giong to get the cylinder resleaved.. and also is there anything i can mess up when i take out the power valve on the exhaust.. or when i put it back in.. if anyone has a tutorial let me know

OK i have a 87 kx250 model and it has chrome plating on it i am looking into just resleeving it with a steel but the guy said that if i do that i might have overheating problems with it because the 80's models arn't able to handle that... soo i said ... crap... i was wondering what the deal is... would it happen alot? alittle? anyway to fix the heating if i do get steel... Im stuck
  6. I have a kx 250. I was riding one day and i ran out of gas and i can't get it started now. I talked to my uncle the other day and he said if i run it out of gas then the oil will get burnt up and then the rings probably seized to the piston letting the gas mixture come through the sides of the piston, after i told him that the spark plug gets wet after kicking it acouple times.. so i think im going to get a compression test soon and see.. could there be any other problems.. i checked the spark. its good carb seems to be flooding but i dont really think that would be a problem its still going to feed gas to the engine.. i havn't messed with anything after it died except cleaning the carb..

  10. What if she is hard to kick.. like now when i kick it it only goes through the cycle once its hard to get it to spin multiple times..

So what i want to do is bend the floaters upwards so gas flows out more.. before it closes off or do i need to bend them down soo it gets less gas because after it does this when i kick it it over flows and leaks out.. see the damn thing is is that a couple days ago it was running fine.. idk what is wrong with it
  12. Sorry this isn't a question about a banshee but.. I have a kx 250 the thing is is that i cleaned the carb out and i kicked it about 10 times and she started up (this has happed 2 times and havn't got it runnin since) i can rev it for about 5 seconds and then bogs out on me and dies and i can't get it started again?? and it keep leaking gas out of that tube that comes out of the bottom of the carb. im wondering if the floaters need adjusted or somthing.. how do i solve it?? Please HELP
  13. does anyone have a article that they have on how to propertly fix the jetting on my carbs or how to adjust the needle with out running it at high rpm's and smoking soo much it smokes like a butthole
