What ever suits YOUR riding style best is what you need to stick with. Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 what kinda trails? tight and technical or wide open? personally if all i did was trail riding id gear down to a 13. you could gear up to a 15 but youll prolly never get past 3rd gear. if you gear down to a 13 youll have a wider range of lower gears that youll be able to use more. FIRST BANSHEE Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 I ride mostly fast trails and dunes, I perfer the 15 up front. Quote
KoooPSD Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 I just got my 13 about a month ago, haven't put it on yet. I was going to but i dont have a big enough socket to get the 14 off. I ride mostly tight trails. Quote

Cotton eyed Joe Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 If you don't have a socket, use a big crescent wrench. 324283[/snapback] That or an open ended wrench. Never bothered with a socket really. Put it in 6th gear, have an assistant step on the rear brake lever, pry the edges of the lock washer away from the nut flats and have at it. Quote
bansheeryder21 Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 I bought a 13 for my shee and all I ride is sand! Most people who ride in sand use a 13 for more torque. That's all I can tell you! I don't ride trails at all! Quote
