I've wanted a banshee for like 3 or 4 years but i have mixed feelings about it. im also lookin at the ds650. im gonna be doin alot of flat land and woods riding..any suggestions? Quote

Personally I think that the yfz or 450r are much better bikes (only comparing 4 strokes here). If you like the feel of a 2 stroke then the banshee is a SUPER fun machine. But if powerband hit/obnoxious screaming isn't your thing, go with a 4 stroke. Quote

Wassup350 Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I think either the banshee or the DS would be great. I would pick the banshee if you are in to riding hard and hitting moguls and jumps since it is so much lighter. But the DS is a great trail machine and has tons of suspension travel stock, and also has good power. See if you can test drive both and see what you like, its all about what suits your needs. Quote

Banshee~ Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I ride trails 80% of the time, the banshee kicks ass with some good back tires. It will climb anything I throw at it. I would not get a ds650 there to wide and wont fit threw some trails plus there gay. Quote
