Otis
I need to replace my rollers. Need some input on what to get, and what to stay away from. Any advantage to using the slider over the roller?
ledofthezep
Well I use both. I use rollers where there needs to be rollers, but on the swingarm I use a slider instead of that stock shit wheel that wears faster than an lubeless condom in a dry-rot pussy... T.M. Designworks - lifetime warranty & works great.

MILO
i have the upp racing slider/roller kit for about a year or more now. working great so far. initial assembly takes a little work, but it's well worth it over the stock style. banshee tuner
The tm designworks have a one year warranty and that is what I got out of them. For the price I was not pleased. Now I run a roller that I got from a place I worked and is is a trolley wheel for an overhead conveyor. It works the best for me and it was free. Cotton eyed Joe
I'd go with a slider due to the increased surface area over the chain. It will reduce the amount of wear that you would normally see on a roller that makes contact over about 10 degrees versus laying nearly flat on a slider. I made a couple of rollers out of Nylon last year because Nylon is some tough shit. 1 trip is all it lasted. I came home from Dumont with about 1/4" or less of roller protecting my swingarm. If it were a slider, you probably wouldn't even think I had ever used it other than the huge fucking grin I had on my face for the next 4 months. RNBRAD
Problem is the roller is a pos because it don't roll. Slider is the only way to go.
dnhyoung
uess that I should of clarified, the UPP set-up has a slider for the swingarm, and rollers for the upper and lower chain guides with sealed bearings.
