thats an awsome price... it should be selling for $1500 more than that.... make sure it hasn't been roled & the motor has good compression...it must be some rich bitch... hit her lower at $3k u never know u might get it... show her the cash... if not that is still a killer price

Doesn't look bad, looks like it's been rolled though...just be sure & check it over real good.

Yep it does have those mysterious white graffix that usually appear after you buy the blue banshee, er, blue and white. :D

Well.. by the time i got by act together it had already been sold... what about this one:

With all the mods done do you really think its only been ridden once?

Check out that pic. I highly doubt that it was only ridden one day. Unless....

1. They spent an entire day riding around on rough pavement, doing burnouts.

or

2. They bought the bike new and then bought some old tires and put them on.

To me it looks like the tires are extremely worn, showing much more than 1 day of use.

Thanks for the input. I have 6K burning a hole in my pocket right now and I am trying to rush into getting a used banshee... however I am trying to find one stock and fairly new so I can have the joy of modding the hell out of it and knowing what kind of condition it is. However I am new to the ATV scene so its hard for me to do this. I just dont want a bad deal is all.

That one doesnt look too bad. Original owner is a plus.

Dont rush, you will find a good deal. Better to wait for a good buy than to buy something that you will have to fix.

Spending $$$ to fix problems is not as fun as spending $$$ on mods.

Well.. now that I am thinking about it more and more.. is it a bad idea to buy new? I know they drop a shitload of value as you pull away from the lot.. but I was talking to the dealer and they were saying they would work me a nice deal on a new 2003 they want to clear out... bad idea? yes/no?

You can usually get a good deal on a "late" model that a dealer still has, thats how i got mine. But u could get an even better deal from a private seller, only thing is that you must take the risk of buying something that someone may have beaten the sh** out of.

Cant tell you what is right or wrong, just wait for a good deal and snag it up.

good luck!
