i was just reading another post about domes and he was worried about what size domes to run without his crank being welded, but he was getting a nos head...is that why he was concerned? my bike is bored over about 3 times over, cool heads, v force reeds, 2 K&N air filters with no box, and pipes with 19 cc domes and im running castor 927 32:1...am i gonna be alright runnin regular gas? becuz that other guy mentioned something about running race fuel, is that also because of the nos head??

It depends on your riding elevation, if you are ported, and if your timing is advanced. In the other thread that I think you are referring to, he is at around 4000' elevation.

If your compression is over 160, maybe less depending on your other mods, you should run fuel with octane greater than 93

you need race gas for sure at least 50/50 but, lucky for you the rebel gas stations have it in the pump somewhat cheap. Also you need to weld you crank as soon as posible or between seasons before it blows up and cost you tons of money.

No, you dont need to go out and weld your crank right now. It is just beter to do that because all two stroke crank will seperate over time and the more power you make the more faster it happens. You can take your jugs off and measure the amount of seperation (if any) that you have. Use the clymer manual. I have buddies that have had even thier welded cranks seperate, it just the nature of two strokes. Measure your crank seperation, if its within limits then your good, if its out of limits fix it cause it can become problems down the road.

so that means that i have to weld my crank just cause i run noss head with 21cc domes, with 160 P.S.I, and 103 octane gas??

No, if you were running smaller domes with higher compression it would be wise to have the crank welded.

Dave is definetly the man. I had a problem with my cool head leaking into the cylinders and he has offered the best advice and customer service. I had to send mine into him less than a week ago to make sure it was not the head and I just got it back today. Very fast turnaround. So far my problem is solved. Thanks Dave.
