they do supermans on dirtbikes fine with a twist so i wouldnt se it as a problem. but personally, i dont like twist becasue when i hit the brakes sometimes on my friends bike i twist the gas a little, not to mention when you fall and are trying to hold on and you just pin it

Stick with the thumb, since that's what you're used to.

I didn't know banshee's came with a thumb-in-ass option for the throttle.

Twisting is for masterbation... not quads.

I got a cool story for you guys. Im test riding my bike at the track right... goin fine(slow as hell to), then i say to myself "fuck it, If im buyin this shit im gonna wind it out," so i made the mistake of rippin it on the bottom or a table and :bolt: .... well, i ended up looping the damn thing in mid-air. And this was before i bought the bike. Yeah... it was akward when the guy asked if i was still intrested while were standing around a pretty busted up bike. :shrugani:

My second ride-

I was ridin around Giants stadium with my uncle in nj. The trails we were on were loooong and straight as a needle so we were really able to wind it out. As were riding paralell to the NJ turnpike (passing cars might i ad) we hit a NASTY whoops section and i gunned the bike. Damn near got myself run over that day..........

Anyways... Anyone wanna buy a bike?

I don't understand why they feel natural on bikes and not on quads. I couldnt imagine using a thumb throttle with my 250, and I've ridden a twist on a four wheeler and its retarded. I don't get it.

The problem with a twist on a wheeler is the fact that it requires ALOT more force on the bars to turn the bike, and physically more movement to do so as well. on a bike, there is minimal movement on the bars to turn, and you can move around on a bike alot more and still be in control of the throttle. I have tried the twist. I got rid of it for fear of death. You just simply muscle the bike alot more with an atv vs. a bike.

baaaah!!

I ride mostly mx on an rm 250 and swapping from that to the banshee is seamless as far as the twist throttle is concerned. When I get on to my warrior which still has a thumb , that bothers me after a few hours of riding.
