cory vogrinec Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 Hi everyone, Just new to this site, and I'm trying to find out what's the best way to go on an aftermarket air filter. The toomey two into one looks pretty good. I run individual k&n pods on my RZ-350 and they seem to work great. Any recomendations or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Quote
sheefreak Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 I love the K+N w/prowflow adapter. No problems w/dirt or sand in carbs, and I run w/ airbox lid off. A lot easier to clean than foam too. I also run an outerwear w/it. Quote
banshdog Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 different riding styles and conditions will make better use of different filters. Personally I have a single K&N in an aluminum air box with an outerwear. I like it just fine, easy to clean, no complaints as long as shee stays dry Quote

bansheecaptain Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 i'm running a k&n with outerwear and a K&N powerlid .. just to keep her nice and clean when i run trails all the time ..runs great Quote
KRMit Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 I personally wouldn't run a K&N on anything except a drag bike. The UNI/Proflow kit is my best recommendation. Take the lid off the airbox and it should flow about as good, if not better than the Toomey. Quote
