  1. I know this might sound a little crazy, but this old mechanic I used to know (going on 50 years experience) would take a can of coca-cola and pour it over stuck parts and fasteners and it worked every time.(crazy) So I guess try and soak it with some coca-cola and see what happens?????????????
  2. How's your jetting? Might want to do a plug chop and check it to make sure that its where it needs to be. Maybe a 15 tooth front sproket, if the machine can pull it. Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck.
  3. Don't know if this would help, but I have my Yamaha factory RZ-350 manual with wiring diagrams. If you would like a copy, I'll scan one and e-mail it to you????
  4. Just thought about your set-up with the 34mm carbs, you probably don't have the stock type intakes, so you probably could not hook up the mamometer. You may have to visually check the sync. (carb slides) to see if its in the ballpark, not too accurate but if its REALLY out of sync. the visual will get you in the ball park. In a pinch, I've used SMALL drill bits to gauge the gap between the slide and carb. body.
  5. You might want to hook up a mamomter to the intakes and check the sync. on the carbs. Is the idle pretty smooth right now?? Sometimes you can hear if they are out of sync by uneven exhaust note out of the silencer.
  6. The RZ-250 was a "Japan only model", and was never imported to the United States (legally anyway). I don't think the 250 had the YPVS as the 350 did, maybe he was talking about the 350???
  7. I thought some of you guys might remember the RZ-350 and even the old RD-350(I have a couple of those too). I'll see if I can get some pics on here.
  8. Hi everyone, Just new to this site, and I'm trying to find out what's the best way to go on an aftermarket air filter. The toomey two into one looks pretty good. I run individual k&n pods on my RZ-350 and they seem to work great. Any recomendations or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
