banshee competition?

i was just wondering how other banshee owners who race mx finish againt yfz's and 450r's.i race mx and jump modded ones out the hole and through the rest of the race.....i was just wondrein if banshees still "run this" on the mx track because i know we got em every where else.....thanks BANSHEES WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!

Mx is alright for a banshee mx tracks are tight on off the gas. Banshee really roost shit on bigger style tracks like GN/TT or The Pikes Peak hill climb race .

I think it all depends on there set-ups and how the riders R on there quad...to each there own...

i wouldnt race a banshee mx. i dont like how they jump, they dont feel stable to be in the air. now my 450 on the other hand takes jumps awesome and feels really easy to handle in the air. i think ill keep the banshees for hillclimbing and the 450 on the track.

i love jumping my shee. but they don;t exactly handle very well on MX tracks this cold also be that i dont race MX. just not a big fan of it. hillclibms dunes are more my kinda style

Banshees can be made to handle an MX track quite well, but if MX is all you will be doing the new thumpers might be more of what you are looking for. It costs quite a bit to make them MX worthy and you'd be able to build a 450 for less that would out handle a well built Banshee any day.

i feel the same way. the banshee doesnt feel safe in the air. the yfz450 flies through the air so sweetly! they really are 2 different quads. although the banshee is a good mx bike i feel safer on my 450 when it comes to the tracks where you get massive air.

I guess everyone is different my banshee flies great through the air, ive ridden a 450 and i guess im so used to my quad i felt akward on it...i wouldnt want to be on any other quad jumping, just my .02 cents im just trying to get 300 lol
