sandornothing Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Now that i have your attenion, what are these pipes for? Im used to seeing pipes with expansion chambers and all. What type of riding are these for? Why does everyone floke to these when they come up for sale? Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 the paul turner mid range pipes are supposed to the best low end/mid range pipe for the banshee with a real smooth, ample power band. Everyone flocks to them when they see them used because the are balls expensive new...like $700 for chrome Quote
broke Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 They probably are the best midrange pipes, as the name implies. They don't have as much low end as a 2:1, but they will rev out on top better. They do have expansion chambers, the pipe itself is just shaped differently. They are with out a doubt the smoothest pipes I have ever used. There really is no hit which is saying quite a bit for a Banshee pipe. I agree the reason people jump on them so quickly when they find a used set is because they cost so damn much new. I don't know why no other company has tried to build a pipe with a bend like the PTR's, there are many days I still regret selling mine. Quote
sandornothing Posted November 21, 2004 Author Report Posted November 21, 2004 Right on, i guess that answers my question and with no power band hit they have no business in the sand. I knew there was a reason i never saw them in the dunes before. Thanks for the info Quote
Lepew Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Not on the dunes? Look closer. I run mine on the dunes and love them. You don't see them there because they cost more than a lot of other pipes. They have a power band hit, it isn't the only thing they have like high end pipes. Quote
