Some guy I know tells me his banshee has something like 90hp and it is just ported. He adds all the hp figures up that manufactors give him such as 12hp for pipes 6 for intake, 4 for reeds,8 for stickers and so on. Quote

If you have a Stock Pipe and it makes power to 7000 rpm and than falls off, shee is going 69 mph at this piont. You add a new pipe that will let the motor rev to a new higher level of rpm at 9700 rpm. OK you still with me. If said stock gearing is 14/ 41is a ratio of 2.92x 7000=69mph than what do you get when you do 2.92 to 9700rpm? Since i am not great a math but if you Add more Rpm You WILL add topend.
