  1. ya the more i think of it the more im thinking to leave well enough alone...i have the yfz suspension on one shee...this one maybe ill just get banshee long travel suspension like loco said at first
  2. ok so i measured it out today...with the YFZ longtravel arms the banshee's over all width would be 49.8" wide... a factory 2010 YFZ 450R is 48.8" wide if you thing of it the banshee with YFZ LT arms isnt outragous..only 1" wider than a yfz 450R the only down side (by my calculations) is that one would have to run shock which measure some 20" long!!!! thats a serious shock..
  3. the term "250r geometry" comes up alot on this site and im not sure what you all mean.. can some one shed a detailed light on the subject? whats needed for conversion? whats the point to it?
  4. This is true.....but the long travel yfz is a product i have in stock and can get cheap. i called the boys at Fullflight and they're long travel kit will be finished next week
  5. im used to 2 stroke dirt bike fly wheels....is there any companies who build flywheel wheights for banshees? it a woods bike and i want a little more slow speed control
  6. ok so i am going to do another YFZ conversion. well this time im thinking of getting a +2" long travel yfz leager kit (we have one in stock at the shop) the YFZ long travel will put the shee at 3" wider per side... has any one done this? or what do you all think of this idea?
  7. Chris; honestly the YFZ conversion was simple took me an hour... the killer will be the J-arm to A-arm conversion... the hardest part was getting all my measurements 100% correct...Find a buddy wit ha banshee and measure as much as you can... there used to be a guy on here that was selling j-arm conversion kits but he has dropped off the map..ill dig around and see if i can find my drawings and measurements...i think i tossed them tho
  8. i did this on my 87 and used YFZ spindles.... can a guy use banshee spindles? if so what length of shocks are needed to atleast retain OEM ride height?
  9. LOOKS AWESOME...what front suspension setup are you running
  10. im trying to decide on a color scheme.. any one have pics of shees with black front and rear fenders and white tank covers? and white arms? or any black and white combos
  11. BTW...i measured this one vs. my new banshee and i gained 3" ground clearance over the stock banshee and 3" wider overall, and 1.5" longer from spindle to rear axle.
  12. "PAPPA" you have to cut out the j-arm rear mount and weld in a new piece of frame heres another pic...the shee is now rolling chassis but i didnt grab any pics...ill post em tomorrow
  13. looks like he painted the parts not powder...all it needs is a got powder coating and it would look beauty
  14. so im picking up a set of ITP ss112 rims next week and im stuck on rim size...im thinking 10" front and rear aswell...can any one post pics of shees with 10" rims front and rear?
