pilot jets

hey new member here, got a quick question. where can i purchase pilot jets, cause the guys at cycle performance said they have never even seen the pilot jet i brought for them to id. im pretty sure i need to go a size or 2 up cause with the new reeds and pipes i got my mains pretty well dialed in (300 3rd clip 1.5 turns on screw) but i get a wicked bog right off idle, a half sec later she takes offf like a bat outta hell but the bog is starting to piss me off. any suggestions would be awesome. quick shout to banshee brian who showed me a few things the first day i rode my bike @ a rock quarry in i think terryville. anyhow thanks in advance for any advice, dont be afarid to get technical as i am ASE cert.techhere in waterbury

I've always bought my pilots from the dealer but I hear that Magic Racing has them.

You should be able to get the jets from any local motorcycle shop although they may have to order them. Should run you about $5 per jet. I never had to go higher on my pilots when I had duals but that may have just been my quad. It won't hurt anything to try bigger pilots, but I think maybe your needle clips might be one notch off.

I usually get jets and such from Vito's. Never any problems!!!!!!!!

Try adjusting your air screws in a bit more so they are about 0.5 to 1.0 turns out or drop your needle one clip position to the 4th clip from the blunt end or so. You may be able to tune that hesitation out without going up on the pilot size.

Vito's Performance Banshee will have many things you will need for your banshee. He charged shipping so it's nice to buy a few things at a time if you need upgrades or replacement parts. For jets, try the dealer first.
