williamjernigan Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 I have a stock 2003 banshee. I have FMF SST'S I'm about to put on in two weeks but this guy wants to race me stock. His friend also has a banshee that is stock which I have raced and beatin which he claims he has to. I'm not sure what year 250r 3wheeler it is but it is a piece of "ish". It does have an ancient fmf silencer on it that has no baffle and is loud as "ish". Will I win? Quote
bansheewizard Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 how about race him and then tell us so we know, and if we tell him that he will win are you not gonna race him ? Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 i wouldnt even bother racing him. he will eat you up. its all about the physics. hes got three tries toughing the ground and you have 4. if you take the coeffcient of friction and multiply by 3 you have .3427. when you multiply by 4 you have .5394. the higher the number equals the slow you will go. its simple physics, not a guessing game. SyNtAxx Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Hey, You forgot the other half of the equation......And that is to take your coefficiant of drag and multiply it times the inverse square of your balls...then divide by the derivative of the slope of the radiator.... Seriously.....just go and race him...... Later Quote

superchicken Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 i dont know about the friction coefictiant, but it does have less rolling resistance than a shee and what about the h.p. to weight ratio? Quote
yfz440 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 put on ur pipes adn EAT HIM FOR LUNCH! with my stocker that only has sst's runnin 300 mains i beat a buddy's 250r 3-wheeler that had a 310 kit in it alot of it has to do with the rider as well we're both experienced riders. who's a better rider betweent eh 2 of u, answer that question and u will prolly get ur answer of who will win.... Southside Motorsports Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Bottom line....run him......atc 250r's are fast....but you won't know unless you run him, it's all in fun anyway. Quote
