fixitrod Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Maybe he swaped the left and right carb slides or didn't put the choke tube back between the two carbs. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 didn't put the choke tube back between the two carbs. That would be my guess.. Quote
banshdog Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 If it was running bad before he worked on it.......... have you checked the obvious stuff? Clean air filter, new plugs? Quote
stockridinshee Posted September 3, 2004 Author Report Posted September 3, 2004 ive cleaned the filter new plugs check the tors and the parking break theyre all fine. and i forgot to add that when i try to start it after like a min or so gass comes out the over flow a pretty decent amount. thanks for the help Quote
nater006 Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Check those slides, and make sure they're in right. I don't know if the shee carbs have the space, but in some carbs you can get the slide back in and not get the needle seated properly. Make sure they're seated, and in the correct carbs. The side that's slightly cut away at an angle should be towards the airbox. As for it constantly flowing out the overflow, the floats need to be adjusted, or it could be the needle valve in the carb sticking and not cutting off the fuel flow properly. They get a notch worn in them over time in some cases and don't seat tightly sometimes and the fuel just runs right through. Check the float level first though. Quote
stockridinshee Posted September 3, 2004 Author Report Posted September 3, 2004 it dosnt constantly flow out sorry i must have worded it wrong it just drips out. thanks for the reply's guys Quote

KRMit Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Sounds like he got the float bowls mixed up to me. Swap em out and give it a try. Quote
