ive got a kx 60 not sure of the year but ill get back with it its in great shape, but it needs motor work i was told it needed a rod bearing but not sure. its got new plastic, new tires, fresh powder coated frame. will trade for aftermarket pipes, shortened swingarm, or some other banshee parts. maybe even cash if the price is right let me know. i will not ship so local pickup or trades only im in brownstown mi 20min south of detroit. thanks dan

Is there anything i can do to the stock suspension to get better traction. i dont wanna spend lots of money on a new shock i was just wondering if lowering it or somthing liek that would help? i have brand new kenda klaws and ive tryed running them on the soft and hard side and they both suck. i had holeshots before and they sucked and ive tryed stock raptor tires and they sucked. is it just the way a banshee is or can i do somthing about it? thanks in advance for any imput at all Dan

i dont know if this would change anything but my head lights just stoped working like 5 rides before no spark and went over the wiring and tried new head lights and nothing so maybe athe stator or should i try somthing else?

checked the orange and black wires on the side of the coil and theyre on there good any other ideas before i start buyin shit

about a week ago i started my banshee up to take a freind for a ride that has never been on one . and i was warming it up and it stalled. come to find out i have no spark. i put new plugs in it and still no spark what should i check next and how do i check it , like coil ,cdi, stator, ect. thanks for any help dan

got a kx 60, i think it has a bent rod not too sure everything is there. not sure of the year but it has a 98 orv sticker on it so it has to be older than that looks great though. up for any trades banshee related or not throw em out. could be a great bike for a kids first. thanks

i know its the pilot i just need to know if i should go up or down? i have a stock banshee just a k&n and no lid pilots are stockat 25 's i believe, thats what it said on the side. so i should go up right? what do you think i should go up to? its a pretty bad bog and my idle screws are turned all the way in to get it to idle and when i rev it up it idles real high for a min and then gradually drops back to a nice idle. also i am at 290 mains with just the k&n and i think im ganna try 310's today cause im still lean. doesnt the sound high for just the filter? and i have no air leaks ive checked hundreds of times. is there any chance that my banshee is just differant and can handle those mains or am i in trouble? any help at all is appreciated thanks in advance

ok i have a stock banshee with a k&n air filter and no lid. i know i wont see any performance gains but will it hurt anything? ive heard the race fuel burns cleaner and faster i just wanna run it to see if it will run a little better. a buddy of mine says his bike idled smoother and reved a little faster i wanna try it but not if its ganna hurt somthing. thanks in advance

what do you guys think of running fuel injector cleaner in the shee? would it hurt it at all? ive never heard of it being ran in 2 strokes for obvious reasons (no fuel injectors) but i think it would just clean everything, carbs, reeds, intake, pistons. everything.

i want to just get rid of the cable can i just take the cable off? or do i have to have a block off kit or whatever?

no the axle is still in the carrier i got it loose but it wont come all the way out if seems the center long tube thing in there is hitting the right bearing so it wont slide all the way out.does the long tube thing have to come off of the left side? and it comes all the way out ? thanks for the replys

im sure you guys have all got a clymers manual and im doing the hub and pipe thing and ive been hammering for a while now and it hasent even moved. the bearings went on me the other day and ive got every thing off the axle except the brake rotor. is there somthing else i can do to get it off? any help is greatly appreciated!!

dude you should be walking raptors with pipes on your shee. i smoke em with an all stock 93. i raced a mustang gt it was a 00' and i smoked em until i hit the top of 6th then he passed but i had like four car lengths on him.

i ruined my axle bearings today .there was shavings by the rear sprocket and the whole axle moves forward and backward and there was no tension in the chain, so its deffinatly time for new bearings. how much am i lookin at and is there any thing i should do while i got it apart and other bearings or mods i should do?

what watkins said check the little black tube that goes from the right carb to the left, probably forgot to put it back on.

with a 20x11x10 tire fit a 10x8 rim? if not what do i need also what is a better rim itp t-9 pro series or douglas .190? thanks for all help quit responds greatly app.

it was stock oil still he had prolly 2 to 3 hours on the bike total.
