loganskinner Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 does anyone use any brand of aftermarket thumb throttle? im looking into getting one but dont know what kind to get. please post pics if you have any. Quote
MotulMonsta Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I run the terry cable thumb throttle. It's got an easier pull over stock..but I don't particularly like it. It was cheaper then a new stock one so I can't really complain. I got a bad habbit of breaking the thumb levers off and stripping out the shafts. Quote
cam2 Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 i use an aluminum extended one from cascade-innovations.com. it's about an inch longer than stock so you have more leverage which makes it easier to push plus they use a sealed ball bearing on the shaft which helps as well. Quote
checkster Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I use a 400EX thumb throttle. Like 15 bucks off Ebay. Very comfortable and I noticed a difference in the amount of time I can ride before my hand gets tired. And the stock banshee cable screws right in with no mods. tom Quote
