a stock banshee is about the best you are gonna get on low end. other than that try adding some compression via a head mod. maybe try one of them two into one exhausts also.

id say its pretty good for a non PV'ed 2stroke. i wouldnt try to haul a trailer with it but its pretty ok for trails and such

The only reason I am asking, is because I heard that Banshee's have a great top end but the bottom end is weak. I am getting a banshee and just wanted to see if I would be able to do some trail riding and still have fun.... also I heard they can't turn well stock.. what can be done to resolve this.. or is it even an issue?

There not the best turners you just got to cut the tires, give it some gas and hold on :headbang: ...low end....2in1Carb,Fmf Gnarly's,Mx/Trail Port and polish...now you will have tons ;)

But at what costs? Will the 2in1 take away from the top end?

No, a Single Carb Kit will not take away from your top end, especially if you get the 35mm, I gained top end also, along with the arm ripping midrange and low end grunt. I think the single carb setup is the by far the best setup for a strong midrange with low end, top that off with some midrange/all around pipes and you have a stump pulling highstrung banshee. I can get in the woods and lug her down in and out of the trees and open her up in the straights and she's gone, and I can go up to the dunes and hang in pretty damn good in the drags with my single carb.

Some will say you'll lose top end, but those that do have not ridden one. Get the 35 and you'll be good to go for a long time and have more than your share of top end.

Yes you will have to worry about jetting, but you only have one carb to jet, not two.

It ain't that hard to get a 35mm PWK jetted so that it is perfect (or close to it).

My dad has the single carb kit. He got that and T-4's for around $500 used. The single carb kit will usually run you back that much by itself new. Longrods also help the low end a lot. As for gearing, i wouldn't mess with the sprockets. The stock set up is fine (unless you ride in the dunes and get a taller tire with more paddle.)

i got a woods port by eric gorr.. its got all kinds of low end.. im runnin 16/41 gearing and ive yet to have any problem with not havin the bottom end when i need it, i didnt lose a whole lot of top end either. it pulls that 16 tooth very nicely. :D

also, i heard somewhere that stock pipes produce the most bottom end compared to any other aftermarket pipe out there? correct me if im wrong, could just be a rumor.
