Throttle is too stiff, how do you soften it up ?

Banshee's throttle is too stiff, is there a way to soften it up ?

buy pwk 28mm carbs??? 100% lighter and easyer to tune? or cut the springs yah got and then re-length them.

cut a loop of 2 off the carb spring. i did it with my 35mm carbs and it made a world of difference. its really easy to push now.

if you unplug your tors you can take the spring out of the throttle itslelf. There is an extra spring in there just take the throttle cover off and take the nut off the top of the throttle and take off the arms, washers, and spring. put it all back on but the spring...

Or invest in a 2 into 1 carb that helped a lot for me, it also gives you a lot more low and midrange power. You could also get a new throttle itself. Terry cable makes a sweeet throttle with a longer lever, but its kinda pricey, or you could get a moose throttle extension, i think Cascade inovations also makes one.

I cut 6 coils from each of my 35mm pwk's. Then I just stretched the spring back out. It's fine.

Most mikuni carbs are stiff,I always cut 4 rings off,

i used a 400ex throttle and the ergos are much more comfortable. i have noticed i can make alot more laps with the EX throttle before my thumb gets tired......just my .02
