CarlosD Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Guys does anyone know what the differences are between the LSR Banshee (Honda Style) Chassis and the stocker? I e-mailed LSR and all they could tell me was the Honda style you couldnt use your stock suspension parts. Quote

I know exactly what you're talking about...I drool over those frames. Personally I'd go with a gibson frame myself, with their long travel setup. Quote

tats4life Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 i started building an outlaw. the only thing that is used from the banshee is the, motor, plastic, radiator. When you order an outlaw you can get a standard width or narrow front end. The narrow front end you have to run long travel. I had a narrow frame, DC-4 long travel arms, no-link cr-500 rear set up. I sold my roller for 3800. all it needed was a motor, plastics. Quote

There is one in the works but wont be up for a month or so. Eastcoast atv and K&K are the only two dealers/producers of Gibson products. And at this time there are no Gibson chassis' produced. Only suspension products. Quote

MotulMonsta Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 Banshee frames arn't very strong. My frame is cracked, tweaked and just about worn out, It's only got 2 years of hard riding on it. It's still good though..I'm going to wait until winter and get a new frame. Quote

Tats: Walsh does NOT make ANY Gibson products. All the LT arms, swingarms, stems, and a few other items are all made in Mass. I think the normal a-arms (stock travel +2's etc) are done down at ECATV At one time Shawn made a few frames, but has since stopped making them. The Pro-production class doesnt allow any AM frames so why bother? The market on those chassis' dropped like a rock in water. Really........ no one is buying am chassis' anymore, unless its for personal use. They may have suspension parts for the walsh chassis'........ I'll find out tomorrow and let you know. Quote
