bronco91shee Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 hey guys. im on my way up for vaction for the week. ill get broschures and phone #'s, anythigni can get on each place. ill bring it all hoem and post it next week. then u guys can pick a place, and if u want i could try to call for all of us. there is 6 camprground up there... jellysotne-lil kids park, kinda expensive, but very clean silver city-party place, only ever busy on the weekends state park-just like any other state campgrounds hideaway-seems to be family, and seansonals all there, but ill check for moer info new place-u have to be rich adn have like over a 30' trailer to get in there or a lrge motorhome one more-i cant remember the name. but we stayed there for years. nice, laid back, family place. then of cosure there r hotels from ont he lake, into hart, ludington and shelby, if any of u need those, ic an find that stuff out when i get back. and the r sound testing. they checked my truck twice. and it only has regular dula exhaust, no cherry bombs or nothin, and its new, but they still checked me. they have checked at least everyone in out family once for sound, and u get testd for spark arrestors each time i go thru, even if its only 5 misn after the last eim. just my experience....... see ya next week,and if any of u be up next weekend, look for my nbronco on paddle stha i just got yesterday.. peace out Quote

bansha60 Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Yeah Applefest is going on that weekend, but its nothing really major, mostly older people go to that, I usually stay at the State Park, cheap, you can party, but gotta keep it quite, no beer is allowed in there but we usually make it happen. I think on that friday night everyone who is going to go should meet up at that new bikini bar/restraunt, whatever it is. That would be the shit. I'm going to go on the 20th of this month, let me know if anyone is gun hoe, still going on the 18,19th though. Another Idea I had was try to find a dry spot and get some bracket drag racing going on maybe stick a few extra bucks in the wallet , and do some racing up test. When we stay the weekend, (we get there Friday morning, and cut out Sunday morning., it's $20 a person, and we usually get 2 sites.) The phone number for there is 231-873-5451. It is a party place, but there are showers, and beer is allowed. ANd the bar, I have never been to, almost, but not made it yet. I will be bringing my family with me if I make it. And that is where I will be staying. It's a stones throw to the dunes, and it's fun. Every time I been there is a hoot. Quote
