Hockey, is that just oil, where did it come from and what are you doing to correct it. I've never seen anything like this so feel free to explain slowly because I have an 87' as well and it maybe something I need to do as well.:huh::unsure::unsure:

Yeah, one of the float valves in your carbs must have stuck open

and you must also have a problem with one or both of your overflow

tubes. Pinched, kinked or otherwise plugged up. Make sure you clear

your overflow tubes so this doesn't happen to you again.

I'll third the notion about stuck needle valves and clogged overflows. My tecate4 used to have the fuel run right through the motor like that. The first time I didn't know and got it actually started, it sprayed everywhere out the silencer. That sounds like a potential.

I'll 5th that oppinion. STuck float valves in the carbs....make sure you get the gas out of the lower end as well, you'll be able to top that bucket off....

I would take the tank and tank plastic off of that bike and turn it upside down with the plugs out and turn it over a couple of hundred times. :-) This will get that crap out of your bottom end. Clean your carbs and check the float bowl levels and needle valves. Then put that thing back together and see if you can get it to start. Good Luck.
