akpopeye Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 title says it, if i get a good offer for the whole thing, ill go with that, but I'm probablly gonna just part it out......everything except the flywheel is there i got a wiring harness, cdi, igntion pick up, fuses, powervalve motor Quote
BenBB Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 If you do part it out, I need the right-hand powervalve cap. It's just the little cover on the right side that has a bronze bushing in it where the powervalve itself rotates. Let me know... Quote
Minkia38 Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 damn that cap - i lost mine - twice!! dealership wants like $50 for it! you need it though - i actually had to buy both sides - one is $5, the other is $50! Quote
theeechozen1 Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Ben, I didn't give you a cap with the motor?? I could of swore I had it somewhere, I'll check it out when I go back to AZ at the end of the month. Quote
BenBB Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Naw G, I got it but the bronze bushing is cracked. It's probably OK to run it that way, and I will if I have to, but I've been looking for a new one. Quote
akpopeye Posted May 17, 2004 Author Report Posted May 17, 2004 Thanx for the interest on it Ben, ill get back to you on that Quote
akpopeye Posted May 18, 2004 Author Report Posted May 18, 2004 ok, i would like to sell the topend as a whole, any takers??? Quote
broke Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Would that include jugs, head, powervalves and all the PV hardware and head bolts? Sorry to ask about the bolts, but it was something I forgot to ask when I bought mine and $80 later the stealership bailed me out. broke Quote
akpopeye Posted May 18, 2004 Author Report Posted May 18, 2004 Well here is what i got......the motor minus the flywheel, a cdi, wiring harness, recitifier/regulator, powervalve motor, i dont have the controller or the flywheel, I will sell whatever you need speficially, but for right now, zI want to keep the powervavles, cylinders, wiseco pistons and head together as a set, but a good offer would take whatever you need..... FATBANSHEE Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 I would like the bottem end if you are selling it? cases, tranny, clutch, crank. ect. I dont need a flywheel or electronics let me know how much for the complete bottem end? and let me know what kind of shape it is in? thanks ...FAT Quote
FadedDreams Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 The engine is complete except for the flwheel and controller, right. How much would you like to get for it.is the controller hard to come by or can it be bought from the dealer. Quote
broke Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Faded, The controllers are fairly easy to come by and aren't too expensive either. Ebay is a great spot to find the odds and ends for RZ's. Anyway, I have a flywheel if somebody buys the motor. PM and here's a bump. broke Quote
akpopeye Posted May 18, 2004 Author Report Posted May 18, 2004 Hey guys, ive been advised that i should just part the motor out because it hasnt been ran since 1999, it would be too much of risk to say it should fire right up with a flywheel, should need new seals, thats it, but i feel it should fire up with that flywheel. So far no takers on anything yet. Cameron Quote
