SouthernBanshee Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 which spark plug is best, NGK BR8ES or some Splitfire??? Thanx Quote
BenBB Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I've always stuck with NGK BR8ES and never had a problem. Last I heard Splitfire was a gimmick, although the link someone posted a while back about cutting the ground strap might hold some water... Quote
SouthernBanshee Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 ok, i have NGK BR8ES right now so i will get a new pair... Quote

cOoLDeviL Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 the best spark plug you will ever find is the NGK iridium BR8EIX this plug is the best for racing and all around riding . Quote
sredish Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 I don't think there's anything wrong with the BR8ES, great plug. I began using a BR8EIX plug about three or four months ago and I really like it. Seems to burn a lot cleaner and stronger. If your changing elevation much and you go up a little that would normally be on the rich side of the line, this plug will help burn cleaner and not foul as easy. This plug has been the standard in jet ski / watercraft racing also. Like I said, there is nothing wrong with the standard plug and it works well, but the Iridium is a very nice plug also, if you don't mind paying a little more. Later. Quote
