reed spacer with C.V 35mm single carb ?
cOoLDeviL replied to cOoLDeviL's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
so if i add the reed spacer between the carb boot and the reed will i still have the same low end power with much better top end . or i will lose some of the low end power to gain the top end ? -
i know that the reed spacer is waste of money on dual carbs and no power gains in no wear . but the single carb have more low end power with less power on top so can i fix this problem by adding reed spacer between the carb boot and the reeds to add more length to the track to help the top end revs ?

my banshee is moded right now i have trinity head with 21cc dome and single carb 35mm advanced timing +3 and GYT-R CDI clean up port job lighted flywheel ported reed cages with power reeds . i tryed the LRD pipe and adjust it to the low power and the top end is much better than the FMF SST .

ho much for the Dynaport polished 2into1 exhaust ? and is thear any pic of them ? -
trinity head is the best but its more expensive than noss it force the water to cycle in the head and move it down to cool the jugs
-
thank you all for your help and i finally made up my mind to stik with the SST

hi all and what is the diffrance between theas 2 set of pipes i mean in power ? i have right now the FMF-SST pipe on my banshee but im thinking of changing it. dont get me wrong but i want somthing that has more low end power with out lossing to much in top end . i know thw 2 into 1 pipe by Dynoport is great in low power but it kills my top end and FMF Gnarly's also has the same result but i dont have any idea on the PTR mid's how they compaire to FMF-SST i heard that PTR mid's are exelant in low power with good top end but if i switch from SST to PTR mid's where should i feel the diffrance in power and is thear any top end loss or what ?
-
so after compairing theas 2 set of pipe with each other and reading your openion i should stick with the SST pipe . thanks all for your help

hi all and i would like to know what would be the difrance in power compaire to each other ? right know i have the fmf-SST and im thinking to change it to dynoport 2into1 pipe . my setup right know is fmf-sst with trinity head with 21cc doom , +4 advance timing , 64.25 stock pistons non-ported engine , trinity 35mm CV single carb , boyseen power reeds with ported stock cages and GYT-R ignition . so is the dynoport work with this setup or not and if it work what would be the result in power .

im at sea level with temp around 50 ~ 90 and my setup now is 45 pilot with the needle in the 5th clip from top thats the last clip down with 195 main . before was clip 4 with 45 pilot and 195 main . but now its beter with the 5th clip but still problem in the main section

the dgk is a long needle with to much taper. what do you mean in that is it recher or leaner than the DEK ? i know that the EEK is richer than the DEK but i have no idea about the DGK ?

-
ok sredish what kind of port job you want to use ? and which pistons ? and for the EEK needle what is the part number for it ?
-
hi all and i want to ask which head is better in cooling and long lasting and performance and which one use the stock studs im loking in trinity stage IV or the NOSS red one with 21cc dome .
-
ok sredish you say that i should drop the main jet to 200 but i only have 195 is it ok. and for the needle do i have to drop it to the last clip down with 195 main . but when i ride it it has a good response all the way up .
