MotulMonsta Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Pro's: You can clear a 28mm kihnin carb..they have a nipple that sticks down from the float bowl and it binds against the clutch arm. Increases intake tract length. Con's: You have to mod your carb boots and it makes taking out the airbox a bit more difficult then it already is. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 if ur just getting these for stock or small carbs, and hoping to get more top end dont, there just a waste of money for u, like motul said, unless u got some 28's where u need to clear the carb they aint worth it Quote
t3racing Posted May 12, 2004 Author Report Posted May 12, 2004 im runnen 35 mukinis and just wondering where they will help me top end or bottom Quote
shannonpurdy Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I installed a set for clearence on a set of Keihin PWK 35s and had no n oticable performance gains. Worked perfect for clearing the clutch arm but it shoved my K&N filter into the silencer pipe and had to buy a different filter with an angled inlet. Now everything fits but like I said didn't notice anything on the performance end. Quote
