reas11 Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 have the trinity 2 into 1 setup on the she and was wondering if dual pipes would be okay .. if u mean exhaust pipes u have to run 2 pipes.. the single carb setup works with two pipes u don't need two carbs to run dual pipes .. u won't have to rejet with a bore u should be fine .. yamaha350 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 dont bore it to 60 if you dont have to. there is little power gain from it. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 well with the 2-1 carb setup, looks like ur lookin for bottom end, u could run a 2-1 pipe Quote
adeezy9183 Posted April 30, 2004 Author Report Posted April 30, 2004 already for the 2-1 pipe. i was just wondering whether or not if i put the dual pipes on i would get more top end Quote
banshee76179 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 depends on what type of pipes u put on.... Quote
sredish Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Pretty much any pipe will have more top end than the 2-1. If you want some extra top end but still plenty of low, go with some FMF Fatties, FMF Gnarlies, PTR Mids all have good low/mid and still have some at the top, with the Gnarlies, Fatties, then PTRs in order of power & price the the PTRs having the most. I don't think the 2-1 would be an ideal setup unless you were strictly MX, period. They are awesome for MX, but I like the broadness of the Fatties. Quote
