I have the Durablue X-33 axle and think it is great, I've had no problems with it. Some will say stay away from Durablue, and to get a Lonestar or RPM, bottom line is that any aftermarket axle is an upgrade from the stock part, go with what you can afford or are willing to spend and you'll be fine IMO.

True.

RPM & LS have better warranties & stand behind their stuff better than duralube. I have a duralube???(bought used) axle & haven't had problems with it yet.

X-33's use pins instead of splines for the hubs right? I got no issues with my 4 year old LS axle..takes a beating and keeps on going.

Yes, the hubs are secured to the axle with a bolt that passes through the axle, no splines at all, width is 2 position adjustable. The X-33 axle come with hubs, and a new locknut.
