In-line Cooler

Does anyone have an in-line cooler on their bikes? Just came across them and was curious if the made a noticeable difference. Maybe one of you guys with temp gauges know if they work good.

My bike hasnt over heated, but that cooler is a quick mod that may prevent it.

My younger brother rides a 450 and it has over heated a couple times, if the cooler works maybe he should put one on his?

got one on mine, along with alot ofother people on the site, keeps it like 5-10 degrees cooler, i think bluedeuce has one with a temp guage in it, he should be able to tell you more

Just got one for mine ,a 25 fin off of e-bay,can't tell you if it makes a diff. don't have a temp. guage.

Anyways check on e-bay ,If I can find the sellers name I will post it for you,It's not to often you see 25 fin ones,

Saw some pictures of the Raptor (i believe) and it had 2 coolers on it. One on the top hose and one on the bottom. Would it be beneficial to put two on?

It would cool it a little better if you had 2 but I doubt its really necessary. I'm going to pick one up for mine also.. they look like a good investment.

I passed on the coolers and installed a Toomey radiator.

I've got an 18 fin that I got off ebay for $15 or something. I'd stay away from the brand name coolers that are $35 for only 8 fins, they just don't have much surface area and I question how much cooling they'll provide. I'd agree with the 5-10 degree temp decrease using my single cooler. I've got a temp gauge and if I hammer the hell out of my shee on a hot day I can get it up to 190. Prior to having the cooler I'd hit 200 a few times. I always shut her down at that point so not sure if it would have gone any higher.
