Josh A. Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 got1 what kinda paint do you use, How much would it be just to flame the fronts, there cut somethin like your before picture now, I dont run back plastics and what kind of paint do you use, Quote
got1banshee Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I am impressed with Kryolon Fusion paint. Its made for plastic and if you put a couple coats of Maguires paste wax on it the next day it will shine like your car. About the fronts they are actualy harder and more time consuming than the back because they are so small. I could probably do the fronts for 75 to 100 bucks or so. Quote
00BANSHEE Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Hey Got1, how much to just paint the front and rear plastics one color? The fronts are race cut and the rear plastic is complete. Quote
got1banshee Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Hey Got1, how much to just paint the front and rear plastics one color? The fronts are race cut and the rear plastic is complete. I probably wouldnt do just that. The reason I wouldnt do it is because you are going to spend so much money just in shipping and my time that is wont be worth it. I can give you step buy step instructions. You can spend 20 bucks in materials and do it yourself. It very easy it really is. Quote
SANDSTAR Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Just don't spill fuel on the krylon...It will craze real bad. Got1- sellin 'em now huh? You guys should see my sun flame cut. My web cut is pretty dope, too. You have never seen anything like my caddy cut. But those are my money cuts. workin on a jet fighter cut...getting into plastic welding. Quote
knight_ripper Posted May 24, 2004 Report Posted May 24, 2004 LoL....Ya dont do it....cause then there will be more rides that look like this. Thanks for the idea Got1.....they look great....I dont know if they look as good as yours....but they still look HOT. I was getting sick of my plastics. They were starting to droop in the rear like elephant ears. Now their lite and shiny...taking off old stickers helped in that arena. I also did the rear seat mod...screwing the seat to the plastics....way cool. Now I wanna cut off all the mounting brackets....maybe, maybe not. Next is the coolant bottle mod. I gotta check that out. When I saw Got1 advertising 100 to cut...I said to myself what a ripoff. But it took me at least 10 hours....start to finish. Drawing, cutting, and sanding. This was my first time...so Im sure it took a little longer than normal...but still a hell of a job. So, if you got the funds.....ship um. Cutting is kinda addictive....once you start....its hard to stop. Quote
knight_ripper Posted May 24, 2004 Report Posted May 24, 2004 (edited) here are some pics of the cut job.... Im trying to add some pics. How the hell do I do it? Edited May 24, 2004 by knight_ripper Quote
