cdcoxwell Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I have to purchase a clutch cable and was wondering if ya'll had a better one in mind other than the OEM stock cable. Also, as well with the clutch lever. It has been since 87' since the carbs had any work, where can I purchase gaskets and o-rings? Any mods to the carbs that you think I should most definately do while I have'em torn dn, please let me know. Quote
2001SSTBanshee Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 cable- Motion pro will probably save you some $$ and is a good cable. perch/lever- if you want to, the pep ez pull setup works good (IMO) Ive been getting all the factory parts that I need from Bob over at Magnolia Yamaha. I'd just clean the carbs real good and inspect them. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 for a cable, i'd go back to stock, there good cables, pertch and lever i'd go with rtc i love mine, www.rtcracing.com ? the customer service is awesome, i like cometic gaskets and orings that come in a kit of the whole engine or just top end, get em from like www.denniskirk.com, if ur gonna have em apart you could always get em bored to a bigger size for relatively cheap Quote
locogato11283 Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 id stay with a stock cable. i run a sunline perch and lever and i like it a lot. no problems with it. as for the carbs i would have them bored. itll prolly cost you around 30 to 50 per carb. Quote
