I put my banshe away last october and she was running mean. I mean reaaly good. So I have been busy(pregnant wife) getting the baby's room ready and all. Anyway, I'm done and deserve an break and the weather is getting nicer. So I pull out the shee to go riding tommorrow, and it kicks over after about three kicks. Just like I expected her to. but when I let the choke in it died. So I pull the choke back out and it fired right back up. I leave the out for a few minutes usually it is only about thirty seconds and then she just idles for a few to warm her up. I let the choke stay on for like three minutes and she won't run unless I rev it .And then only the left cylinder runs and it pops. I will try changing the plugs see if that helps. I need help please

before putting you'r shee away, did you drain the carbs and get it set up for storage? gas will only stay good for so long. you may need to pull you'r carbs, clean them thouroughly, drain all gas and replace with fresh.

Carbs could use some cleaning. I wouldn't worry about it too much, it will probably clean out the system the first time you take it for a ride and juice it up, but if you want to play it safe you should put new, good fuel in it and maybe take off the carbs and clean them.

since only the right side was being a problem I removed it and it was looking pretty clean until I took out that small jet that is down in the tube . The one where you need a tiny screwdriver to get it out. Sure enough there was a little chunk of shit clogging it up. I am so relieved. I always think the worst and was think some expensive repair. A little elbo grease was all it took. I have had my first problem with the shee and we made it through. Plus I will be riding tommorrow.

change the plugs, pull the carbs and clean them. Get rid of the old gas in the tank and you problem should go away. I was told that running old gas could cause damage to the pistons due to poor detonation(do not know how true this). hope it helps.
